Whether it's Time, Money or Books, you can make a difference!

Baltimore Reads is not only dedicated to serving the Baltimore Metro area, but also to creating opportunities for the community to serve each other and itself. Everyone will benefit from having a more literate and workforce-ready Baltimore. Families will live in better socioeconomic situations, children will do better and stay in school, parents will be able to read and find work. The cycle of intergenerational illiteracy that has plagued Baltimore will be broken. And we can all be apart of it. If you want to be part of the change toward a more literate Baltimore, you can do so in a variety of ways:
                                                                        • Donate money or in-kind gifts to help Baltimore Reads spread the love of lifelong literacy to Baltimore families.
                                                                        • Donate books to the Baltimore Reads' Book Bank to support families, schools, and communities who cannot afford books.
                                                                        • Volunteer tutoring in the classroom or providing administrative support, or help out at occasional events.

Together, we can end intergenerational illiteracy!
