Baltimore Reads Book Bank

The Baltimore Reads Book Bank has provided new and gently-used books to disadvantaged families in Baltimore since 1992.  The goal?  To spark family reading at home by making sure there are plenty of books available.

Books can be dropped off at our user-friendly warehouse, located at the Baltimore Sun complex.  Over the last nine years, the Book Bank has re-distributed over 1,000,000 books directly to low-income families.

Books for Kids Day

Held annually on the 1st Saturday in May, our annual Books For Kids Day campaign focuses on collecting high-quality children's books and educational materials. For information, give us a call at (410) 752-3595.  The Book Bank is open this summer on Wednesdays & Thursdays from 9:30 am - 3 pm.  No appointment necessary.
