How To Get to Baltimore Reads' Headquarters

Baltimore Reads' home is in a complex of buildings known as "The Brokerage" in Baltimore’s historic Inner Harbor area at 3 South Frederick Street. Frederick Street is one short block long, running between Baltimore Street and Water Street.  Our offices and classrooms can also be entered from the east side of the building, which faces The Power Plant Live on Market Place -- near the corner of Lombard Street and Market Place.  Visitors have easy access by car from I-83 or I-95; or by MTA via bus, Metro or light rail.

The Metro subway Market Place/Shot Tower station drops you off almost at our door. Cross Market Place to the Venue entrance of Ram's Head Live!  Go through the lobby to the elevators. Take an elevator to the 8th Floor.

MTA bus lines serving Baltimore Reads Inc. include 2-10, 5, 7, 8, 19, 20, 23 and 40. Many of these bus lines connect with the Light Rail.

Driving Directions

From Interstate-95 North/South
Take Interstate-95 to I-395 – Baltimore Inner Harbor past Camden Yards to Pratt Street and make a right. Once past the National Aquarium, get into the far left lane to make a left onto Market Place. After crossing Lombard Street, continue on Water Street to Frederick Street. Our entrance will be on the right.

From Interstate-295 North
Take Interstate-295 North towards Baltimore. Once in Baltimore, I-295 will become Russell Street. Follow past Camden Yards and make a right onto Pratt Street. Once past the Aquarium, get into the far left lane to make a left onto Market Place. After crossing Lombard Street, continue on Water Street to Frederick Street. Our entrance will be on the right.

From Interstate-83 (Harrisburg/Jones Falls Expressway)
Take Interstate-83 South towards Baltimore. Once Expressway ends, make a right onto Lombard Street and then the very next right onto Market Place. Continue on Water Street to Frederick Street. Our entrance will be on the right.

Parking

Park in the Frederick Street garage at 3 S. Frederick St. and take the elevator to the 8th floor.  Also, there are 4 more parking garages within a short 1 to 2 block walking distance.
